Jenny Courtney

With a solid foundation in business management, Jenny brings over 15 years of leadership experience to the nonprofit sector, driving impactful change and ensuring organisational sustainability. As the CEO of Belvedere Youth Club, Jenny is passionate about leveraging strategic vision and operational expertise to create lasting social impact.

Jenny has had a successful career in the Nonprofit and Voluntary sector, where she has held various leadership roles, managing teams, optimizing operational efficiency, and delivering measurable results. Her background in business management has allowed her to bring a unique and results-driven approach to nonprofit leadership, focusing on growth, resource optimisation, and community-centred initiatives.

Jenny is committed to fostering innovation, creating sustainable partnerships, and building a thriving organisational culture where collaboration and compassion guide every decision.
Jenny believes that her own lived experience in what is considered marginalised disadvantaged communities supports her passion to create equal access to opportunities for children, young people and their families that continue to experience the same challenges and barriers as she did almost 30 years ago.

Jenny’s passion is to support the empowerment of children, young people and their families so as they can realise their potential as individuals and grow their capacity to take responsibility for social change in their communities contributing to the eradication of poverty and social injustice.

Jonathan Dowling

Team Leader

 

Jonathan attended the club as a young person and has been employed here as a youth worker since 2016. Jonathan’s role as team leader sees him lead a professional team to deliver best practice youth work programmes to young people from the community of the NEIC. His passion for social justice and bringing about change in the lives of these young people is complemented by the programmes he and the team design, develop, and implement.

Niamh is a qualified teacehr and has worked in the Financial Services Sector, so she brings an informed perspective to our fundraising programme. She also has a large amount of experiece from various volunteer roles in our community and she is passionate about using her skills to drive positive change, for the young people that benefit everyday, from the BYC.

THE DIAMOND TEAM

Diamond is a youth justice project that provides therapeutic support to both the young person and their family, collaborates with local community supports, and develops tailored teams to address their needs, helping them rebuild relationships and create positive opportunities.

Bridie Flood

Senior Project Worker

 

Bridie has lived and worked in the NEIC all her life and has lifelong experience in Youth, community and youth addiction work with young people and families in marginalized communities. Bridie’s passion is around social justice and bringing about change with young people and their families by empowering them to take control and direction of their own lives. To support them in meeting their full potential and becoming positive role models. Bridie has always and continues to advocate on behalf of families and young people in the NEIC.

Dwyane Horace

Senior Project Worker

 

Dwyane is a senior project worker in The Diamond Project. He has a background of working in Youth Addiction services for the past 14 years within the NEIC. Seen first-hand the impact that drugs and crime have on individuals & families. Dwyane is very passionate with working with “At Risk and Hard to Reach young people” to help them become the best version of themselves to make better choices and eventually become positive role models within their own families and communities.

Siobhán Brennan

Family Therapist

 

Siobhán is a Family Therapist in the Diamond Project Siobhán has worked with young people in youth and community services for nearly 20 years in both Ireland and the UK. As a Systemic Family Therapist, Siobhán is passionate about building a family’s capacity to support each other and rebuild relationships. Siobhan has a strong awareness of cultural and contextual factors that impact these families and trying to work with the wider community to support change.
